Recording: Beth Trollan
At the beginning of March, I engineered a mini recording session with a gifted vocalist, Beth Trollan. It was a full-on task, but we managed to cram the recording of eight jazz standards into a day session. We recorded How High The Moon, Don’t Get Around Much Anymore, You Don’t Know What Love Is, Georgia On My Mind, Bye Bye Blackbird and Canteloupe Island.

What do you think of this? K Anderson’s been doing his In Bed With… series of YouTube vids for a while now. Last weekend I became the umpteenth musician to grace his bed, to do a version of Jennifer Lopez’s latest, I’m Into You.

Finished! The long saga that has been my work on the greek tragedy Antigone is complete. Audio snippets coming next week.
Friday 22 April
Fabulous gig at Bar SF last night with Beth. We were both of us on stage for about 2 hours last night in a kind of songwriters-in-the-round dual. But we both won! Imma gonna hunt down the pictures and post them soon as I get them.
Saturday 23 April
Spent seven hours in the (admittedly lush) environs of the SAE complex in Barcelona, talking myself hoarse for a voiceover job. A bit like being in a forced labour camp, but (probably) a bit more fun. I had a ball.
