Marie Tueje's blog: short texts about all things.

There's a lot of talk, constantly, about women; women in popular culture. Let's say, women who are currently popular in culture. I'm talking about Beyonce, Lena Dunham, Jennifer Lawrence, Taylor Swift (to name a few). But there are other women - let's say those who have now reached a certain age - who possess a great awareness of their connection to their history and their career (their life and their work), and who we all can learn a lot from. They have poise, they have talent, and they have experience. Two of those women, names that immediately spring to mind, are Cher and Marianne Faithfull.
