How To Create your own Movement

I can't claim this all as my own work. It all started when I purchased Seth Godin's freelancer course on Udemy, which then also led me to Cal Newport's So Good They Can't Ignore You. Both of which, along with a lot of reflection, have lead me to this list. 'Your own movement' is a movement that works for you, that emboldens you and represents your purpose:

  • Do the hard work that nobody else wants to
  • Leave aside serious time for adding and creating value
  • Keep telling people who you are
  • Admit you don't know everything
  • Specialise
  • Know where you are on the scale
  • Surround yourself with good people who know more than you do
  • Give back could constantly
  • Connect dots
  • Ask lots of questions
  • Provide workable solutions
  • Organise the small tasks and do them regularly
  • Have a plan (but be willing to tweak it regularly)
