There are so many of us, in all ambits. How is anyone going to notice you? More importantly, why should anyone take notice of you? Be hard to ignore.
Being hard to ignore means that, all being equal, you have more and better quality credentials. Harvesting and nurturing our career, and our career opportunities - everything counts, we don't know what, or when we are going to be lifted 'over the top'. It's rare that someone actually wants to employ you. Mostly, they will be hoping to count you out and make their job easier, one less to think about. That's when being hard to ignore goes from being desirable to being vital. We must put our quality out there, on the table, so that it cannot be ignored.
