Stepping out of your comfort zone doesn't always involve heroic feats of bravery. It's not always about testing your strength of character. Sometimes, stepping out of your comfort zone can be as simple as surrounding oneself with new people and observing. People are people; different, strange, familiar, likeable, vain, bossy, nosey. People are all manner of things, and with all manner of backgrounds. Stepping out of your comfort zone can mean opening one's heart and one's imagination to people who are different, whose experience is different, whose outlook is different. We don't always get the opportunity to do it - it's not always something that we seek out - but to be among people who are, essentially, not like you can be a wonderfully simple way of learning more about the world in which you live.
