Changing lanes, changing gears, switching it up, turning the page, flipping the switch, resetting the chip... whichever cliché you prefer, it does one good to do this once in a while. Having been stuck on all kinds of repeat modes for a good couple of months, it feels slightly uncomfortable to do things differently. I'm not talking of huge, life changing differences, just small everyday things that one gets into doing for habit. Things like listening to a different radio station in the car, a small change in your bedtime or waking up routine, or lunch routine. Change can be a change for good, and not just in the big picture; small changes can make a huge positive difference, too.
